Mr. Harsha Kadam is CEO and Managing Director of Schaeffler in India. In addition, Mr. Kadam is also responsible for Schaeffler’s Industrial business in India.

Mr Kadam has studied Mechanical Engineering at Bangalore University and later acquired further qualification in business management, specializing in Marketing, Finance & HR.

He joined Schaeffler in 2018, as President – Industrial Business, a role he continues to hold. Prior to Schaeffler, Mr. Kadam was the CEO of AGI Glaspac (India). Before AGI Glaspac, he was with SKF India till December 2016 as Director, Automotive Business and held several key leadership positions in the organization across manufacturing and sales, for over 20 years. Mr. Kadam has more than 25 years of experience in functions including Sales, Manufacturing, Product Design and Development. Besides leading business successfully, he filed several patents and won global awards for innovation excellence in his professional stint.

He resides in Pune with his family and in his spare time, he enjoys adventure sports and sketching.


Hardevi Vazirani

Director – Finance & CFO

Ms. Hardevi Vazirani is Director-Finance & CFO of Schaeffler India Limited. In her role, she is responsible for the Finance & IT functions of the company.

Ms. Vazirani has been part of Schaeffler for three decades, during which she held various roles in IT, Finance & Corporate Strategy including invaluable international exposure during her four years stint in Shanghai and three years in Singapore, where she played vital roles in AP region. Prior to Schaeffler, she had amassed three years of experience as an IT service consultant, working with various IT Firms.

Ms. Hardevi holds Bachelor of Commerce degree from MS University, Vadodara. Ms. Vazirani completed Diploma in Business Management from ICFAI, Hyderabad and Diploma in Computer Studies from NCC UK, Vadodara, and Management Pro-grams from INSEAD, IIM-Bangalore and is Certified Accounting Specialist, from Accovalist Institute, Germany.

Ms. Vazirani is currently based out of Pune.

Sameer Mathur – COO

Sameer Mathur

Vice President (Manufacturing)

Mr Sameer Mathur is the Chief Operating Officer of Schaeffler India. In his role, he is responsible for the complete operations of the company. Mr. Mathur is responsible for all factories, manufacturing and production facilities of Schaeffler India.

Prior to this, Mr Mathur served as Vice President of Industrial Operations, APAC region, responsible for strategy, processes and investments projects for industrial segments of Asia. Mr Mathur is associated with Schaeffler since 1991, joining the company as a Graduate Engineer Trainee. Since then, he has held various incremental leadership positions across manufacturing and export processes. He brings in depth knowledge vast experience of over 27 years in the field of manufacturing, production processes and brings in rich experience in the areas of quality management, TPM, lean management, manufacturing and exports related fields.

Mr. Mathur is a mechanical engineering graduate from Regional Engineering College, Silchar and holds a Post Graduate degree in Business Management.


Madhurisha Vippatoori, CTO of Schaeffler India

Vice President (R&D) & CTO

Ms. Madhurisha Vippatoori is the CTO of Schaeffler India. Additionally, she also heads the Research and Development Division at Schaeffler.

She joined Schaeffler in November 2022. Before joining Schaeffler, she worked with Alstom as the Traction and system domain lead. She has also held various positions at Bombardier, Volvo Construction Equipment, Mahindra Engineering services and TVS throughout her career spanning over two decades (20 years) in Research, Design & Development

Academically she has studied Electronics and Communication engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad.

As the CTO, Madhurisha will guide various technological development domains at Schaeffler India while providing the necessary expertise to ensure operational excellence and drive the overall technology strategy. She will be based out of Schaeffler’s India office in Pune.

In her leisure time, Madhurisha is immersed in reading fiction.


Santanu Ghoshal – Vice President (Human Resource)

Mr. Santanu Ghoshal is the Vice President of Human Resources at Schaeffler India and the member of Executive Board. In his role, Mr. Ghoshal is responsible for all HR and IR aspects of Schaeffler’s operations in India that includes Automotive and Industrial businesses.

Mr. Ghoshal, is an Engineering Graduate from the Bengal Engineering College and holds a degree in Personal Management and Industrial Relations from XLRI- Jamshedpur.

A result oriented, passionate and an accomplished professional with a successful track record, Mr. Ghoshal brings a rich experience of 23 years in the HR & IR field.

With his versatile exposure in Organizational Development, Succession Planning, Talent Management, Human Resource Transformation and Employee Engagement, Mr. Ghoshal began his career with Crompton Greaves and has held Leadership positions in companies like Timken and General Motors.

Born in Kolkata, West Bengal, Mr. Ghoshal resides with his family in Pune and is a keen follower of classical music, soccer and loves traveling.


Seshan Iyer

Mr. Seshan Iyer is President of Bearings & Industrial Solutions, Schaeffler India.

Seshan brings over 29 years of leadership experience in industrial application businesses. He has steered industrial sales verticals for Bonfiglioli Transmission India, Dalmia Refractories Limited, TDW India Limited and Cooper Roller Bearings Company. Throughout his career, Seshan has driven OEM and channel sales strategy and new business and product development, transforming the very scope of market expansion.

Seshan returned to Schaeffler India as President of Bearings & Industrial Solutions, in 2023, to lead its high-precision components and systems for drive train and chassis applications as well as rolling and plain bearing solutions for industrial customers in India. With his in-depth knowledge of the target markets, Seshan is driving Schaeffler’s intelligent, efficient and sustainable products and services to advance Industry 4.0 motion technology.

Together with the rest of the India Executive Leadership Team, Seshan is creating value for stakeholders along the supply chain for Schaeffler, a company that leads in motion through innovation, agility, and efficiency.

Alok Dave, Vice President (Purchasing)

Aashish Bhatia

President (Automotive Technologies)

Mr. Aashish Bhatia is the president of Automotive Technologies of Schaeffler India.

Aashish has studied Design Engineering at the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi) and holds a degree in Executive General Management from the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore (IIM Bangalore).

Aashish is a seasoned automotive industry leader with over 25 years of experience spanning product engineering, automotive electronics development, programme management, and general management. Aashish has held key leadership positions at renowned automotive companies including Visteon India, Inteva Products, Hella, Delphi, and GE.

He joined Schaeffler India in 2023 as its President of Automotive Technologies. With an incisive understanding of the automotive sector and its technological advancements, Aashish is driving these businesses to create the maximum customer value and unique selling propositions addressing complex market needs.

As a key member of Schaeffler India’s Executive Leadership Team, Aashish ensures Schaeffler, a leading Motion Technology company forges a future through innovation, agility, and efficiency.

Debasish Satpathy, Vice President (Head Automotive Aftermarket)

Mr. Debasish Satpathy is the President & Head of Automotive Aftermarket division of Schaeffler India.

Mr. Satpathy has more than 20 years of professional experience in Automotive Aftermarket in India and United Kingdom. Mr Satpathy joined Schaeffler in 2017 in UK before moving to India in 2018. He has held leadership positions with major Automotive Aftermarket Distribution houses in United Kingdom in Commercial, Procurement, Product Management and Business Leadership roles. In India, he has worked with aftermarket business of General Motors (AC Delco) and JK Tyres.

Mr. Satpathy studied Electrical Engineering at VSSUT and later acquired MBA from Xavier Institute of Management.

Mr Satpathy is based out of Navi Mumbai with his family. He has great love for team sports primarily cricket. Food photography and travel are his other interests.


Vinod Acharya, Vice President (Purchasing)

Mr. Vinod Acharya is Vice-President & Head of Corporate Purchasing, Schaeffler India

Vinod graduated from Pune University and holds an MBA.

He brings a wealth of experience from multinational leaders in automotive and industrial sectors such as John Deere, Cummins and Lear Corporation. Throughout his career, Vinod has held leadership roles in purchasing and supplier development, fostering strategic supplier partnerships that delivered significant quality improvement. He was heading Automotive Technologies Purchasing and supporting the Automotive Tech team at Schaeffler in his last assignment.

Vinod assumed the position of Vice-President and Head of Corporate Purchasing in 2023. Leading Schaeffler India’s sustainable procurement initiatives, Vinod is playing a key role in turning the supply chain climate neutral.

An integral part of the Executive Leadership Team, Vinod is helping advance the group’s Climate Journey toward climate-neutral operations by 2040 with his valuable insights.
