The global motion technology company Schaeffler has started a sponsorship with the Danish bicycle racing event Cykelnerven which raises funds for research on multiple sclerosis.

Social engagement in the benefit of local communities plays an important role in Schaeffler’s sustainability approach and the company strives to be active through strategic partnerships and collaborations with charity associations and initiatives. Multiple sclerosis is a disease affecting a large number of individuals in Denmark and all over the world. For this reason, Schaeffler Denmark has decided to become a sponsor of Cykelnerven, a charity cycling event that raises funds for research on multiple sclerosis.

“The partnership with Cykelnerven underscores our engagement with the local community to raise funds for a noble and important cause such as research to fight multiple sclerosis. We are happy to make our contribution by sponsoring a motion initiative to pedal towards a future hopefully free of multiple sclerosis” says Jens Föcker, General Manager, Schaeffler Denmark.
